Jefferson Starship circling around the Fitzgerald Theater, Saint Paul, Minnesotaon the 3rd of March 2006:

Fast Buck Freddie

Volunteers

Hello again on Friday:

Promised to come back with some rock and roll from the Airplane Family and here we

go! Thanks for the numerous Airmails in the past several hours about the Airplane video

from Ed Sullivan.  My pleasure.  I made a promise when “Take Me To A Circus Tent”

came out if you would be kind enough to support the book and spread the word about

the website and blog, I would be honored to host the Aircast and give as many gems

from the vault as possible.

Listen to “Fast Buck Freddie” a FEW

TIMES to fully absorb the really nice vocal

rendition from Diana Mangano.  Well done!

Back to the Yankees.  Yes they are

losing(No surprise).

I’ll head to the Rock Tent and put together

a goody for Saturday.  Check back often

because the updates can occur at any

Jefferson time.

All the best,

cf

Hello and welcome to Friday morning.  It’s early Eastern Airplane Time but never do we

come empty handed.  A great cover and some information to go with it.  Thanks for making this week for having the most passengers yet to see these pages!  Please keep it up.

Jefferson Starship landing at the Fitzgerald Theater, Saint Paul, Minnesotaon the 3rd of March 2006: Who Do You Love > Iko Iko > Who Do You Love

Although the most famous version of all comes from the Doors, “Who Do You Love” was penned by Bo Diddley.  Iko Iko” associated with Dr. John was composed by 5 people, two with the last name of Hawkins.

Tough lose for the Yankees last night.  The offense wasn’t anywhere to be found much like producer of the Aircast Plastic Fantastic Pete.

Have a great day and I’ll see what else the Rock Tent can unfold for us.

Be well,

cf

Hello from the Airplane tent.  What’s new?  Hope the day went well.

Back as promised with a bonus of a bonus of a bonus with a bonus Aircast.  There is a smorgasbord of great material from this gig.  Let us sink out teeth into a couple of tracks.  If we want to be technical 4 songs really.

Producer Plastic Fantastic Pete decides to not put a light on in the studio.  He was the one that walked into a wall.  Don’t worry the wall is fine.  Thanks for asking.

Have a great evening and I’ll see you on a return journey in the not too distant future.

Keep checking the blog and website all the time for

UPDATES.

I think it’s Yankee baseball time.

Be well,

Hello there and welcome to Friday:

Working from home I often get lost in the enjoyment of the promotion for the Jefferson Airplane book “Take Me To A Circus Tent, the website updates, and the blog.  For those that have to battle the traffic and go to an office each day, it is only fair you keep getting Jefferson Airplane and family rarities as you fly by my blog and website.  For today how about:

Marty Balin from the Jefferson Airplane, KBC, and Jefferson Starship along with good friend Slick Aguilar from kBC and Jefferson Starship perform “It’s No Secret.” June 8, 2006 at Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn, Illinois.  The video!!!

I tried John Barbata about 2 hours ago.  I haven’t been able to get in touch to find out how he is feeling.  I am hoping that the news is good and he is on the Drum Clinic Tour but the Airplane man is still up in the air about that.

Thank you to the many nice CSN and sometimes Y fans for writing about the enjoyment of “Wooden Ships” W/Paul Kantner.  My pleasure.  You can check that out if you look at the right side of the page, the last 5 or 6 entries should be listed.  If not simply click by month.  Thank you.  Glad you also have been enjoying the Herb Greene rare photos circa 66.

Have a terrific weekend and I’ll try to find another treasure from the vaults for Saturday.

Always be well,

cf
