How are you this evening?  After a delay at the Airfield we are ready to fly.  Thanks for boarding. To make up for the Air Computer not passing the test for several hours I’ll try to have an update in the next 3 hours again! Relax and see if this is one toll you don’t mind stopping for.  When you look you’ll hear 3 Airplane members.

All the best,

Surprise Surprise                                                            http://www.takemetoacircustent.net/media/JeffersonAirplaneTakeMeToACircusTentJefersonAircast33PKGSTLN.mp3  Hello and welcome to late Tuesday night after a Yankee victory.  Hope all is well.  There is a nice one from the Rock Tent Vault.  We fly back to 1970 and have Paul, and Grace with friend Jack Traylor.  It sounds nice.  See what you think. Please keep the musical suggestions flowing via Airmail.  They are great!  Very well thought out and ultra diverse.

Thank you!

For the return flight I am looking for something that will leap out and say “Play me next.”  When that occurs I know it will be the right choice. Have a great Wednesday and I’ll hear you soon.

All the best,

Hello and welcome to Monday Night:

There are two goodies for you if you please click the above link and board

the flight on time.  Words will not describe the Sunfighter demo.  It is best

you listen and soak it all in!  Listen twice!!!

How are things going tonight?  I hope the day

went well for you.  I’ve been in the Rock Tent

searching for the gems.  Most of the times

they are picked by your cool requests.

Thanks for your support.

If you have noticed I have spread out the different type of songs

and the years they were recorded.  I am cognizant (Did I come

close with the spelling?) to mix live and studio nuggets.

I’ll see you on the return flight.

Be well always,

Hello from Airplane Land:

As I board the flight it is about 100 below zero and that is with the heat on.

They call this summer.

How are you this afternoon?  A really nice gem from the Rock Tent Vault.  We fly back to 1970 and hear Jack Traylor with a couple of Airplane parts called Paul and Grace.  Jack had a large hand in helping the Airplane Family.  He has been friends with Paul Kantner since 1961 and gave him some guitar lessons in the early 60’s.  His band Steelwind featured a young Craig Chaquico (Still in High School).  I also mention in the bonus Aircast besides Airplane family members the musician that was the most professional to Steelwind of all the bands/performers they opened for.  The answer surprised me greatly.

The tune you’ll hear is not only cool for being a rarity but it is a solid tune.  Hope you like it. I have to take care of a couple of things.  The first getting the ice off my hands.  After that I promise to go to the Rock Tent Vault and see what goodies can be given to you for the next update.

Thanks so much for flying by and have a great afternoon,

Craig “The Airplane Man” Fenton

How are you this Monday morning?  The most over paid producer in the business Plastic Fantastic Pete lost the music I wanted to give you first thing today.  It has been located.  Only Pete would file Jefferson Airplane under the letter “C.”  He is a constant source of comedy around the Air Studio.

While you are on board the flight please relax and check out the recent Allman Brothers videos with Gregg Allman, Dickie Betts, and company.  Of all places it is a home town gig!  Macon, Georgia.  Look to the right of the page and you will see the info.  Click and the videos await your viewing!  Enjoy!

 Jefferson Airplane the unreleased:

Trial By Fire-  False start and the actual song (instrumental) 1972  Wally Heider’s Studio, San Francisco, California.

Hope you enjoyed all the recent version Aircast versions.

Here is what I’m debating would you like to hear a Grace

Slick demo about Cannibalism?  Let me know via Airmail

please or do you think it is a bit much?   Don’t forget the book is on the Jefferson Airplane-

“Take Me To A Circus Tent.”

Didn’t think the Yankees would salvage the 4-3 win last night in Boston.  Clemons pitched great.  The sad thing is since they started the season 21-29 the three games over the weekend were not about a battle for first place.  It was all about holding on to the Wild Card lead.

Thanks as always for flying by and I’ll see you

on the next flight,

Hello from the Airplane Tower:

How are things going?  Since the largest number of new passengers came aboard this week for both the blog and the Aircast (Thank you so much!) I wanted to let everyone know how easy it is to never miss a note or a word from the Airplane World.  With many Aircasts and bonus Aircasts as well as frequent blog updates if you please click the above link, it gives all the information.  Please don’t think if you are first flying with us this week you can’t relive the past.  Through the magic of Aircasting you can catch up on all the old flights. There should be a really cool Allman Brothers video from the early 70’s later on today. Have a great night.  I’ll take a break so the plane can get refueled. Once again the support of the book, Aircast, and blog is greatly appreciated.

All the best,

How are things going this evening?  I have been battling (Not

well) a scratchy throat but the Aircast #33 1/3 must go on!  Please

forgive the voice being strained.  It doesn’t help when producer

Plastic Fantastic Pete reminds me of this 1,000 times.  He also

had to procure the worst throat lozenges ever developed in the

Airplane Universe.

Welcome to the Rock Tent and

Aircast #33 1/3.  This is tremendous

if you have not previously been

exposed to Mr. Jerry Garcia

helping out, there is also:

STUDIO SESSIONS  3/72-5/72

Wally Heider’s Studio, San Francisco, California

Instrumental Blues Jam 1972 Wally Heider’s Studio Trial By Fire #3 (Instrumental) 1972

Wally Heider’s Studio W/JERRY GARCIA

The Jam is worth a few listens!  Hope you enjoy the journey back in time and our flight. I am looking through some more photos for you fineflyers from the massive Herb Greene collection.

Always be well,

cf

P.S.:  Obviously no mention of the Yankee game!!!

Good Saturday afternoon fine people.

How are you?  This should be a nice one.  Jerry Garcia helps the Airplane with a song that has stood the test of time but a version that didn’t see the light of day. Through the magic of the Airplaneman’s Time Machine we fly back to circa (Is that a cool word) March through April of 1972:

Trial By Fire #2 (Instrumental)

California-W/JERRY GARCIA

Enjoy the treasure it is greattttttttttttttttttttttt.

A quick thank you to Clarence.  He recorded a PSA for Signe Anderson’s

Health Fund.  I would like to include it in a audio file tonight if possible.

He was kind enough to give me a mention (Not in the PSA) on his site.

Thank you to Clarence and anyone that has given Signe even 1.00.

Hope you fly by later for more rock from the vault.

Always be well,
