Count On Me
(Below transcript from the pre-flight)
Welcome aboard the Rock Flight as we fly over the frigid weather. How are you? Thanks for hanging out with Craig. Now that you had a day to digest the news what are your thoughts of Diana and Prairie leaving the Jefferson Starship soon? How do you feel about the replacements Cathy Richardson and Donny Baldwin. Donny has been there before on a part-time basis? One thing I hope is everyone will give Cathy a fair chance. Paul Kantner has a tremendous track record 4 for 4 actually in helping to pick female vocalists. Signe Anderson, Grace Slick, Darby Gould, and Diana Mangano. Good luck to Diana and Prairie and the same to Cathy and Donny. We have a great flight. A 1995 J.S. gig with Barry Flast on the keyboards and how about if Keith Emerson and John Entwhistle from the Who joined forces to show you America. ENJOY!!!
I look forward to hearing you later.
The book is Take Me To A Circus Tent (The Jefferson Airplane Flight Manual) W/93 photos, 32 interviews, 543 pages, and a myriad of 5 star reviews!
Please remember at any moment on an Aircast it can be a rare memory from the Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, KBC, Wooden Ships, Marty Balin, Paul Kantner to name several. Maybe another picture previously unseen from the Rock Tent Vault sees daylight from Herb Greene or Don Aters.
Have a super Wednesday,
cf
