Hi there:

Hope you had a great weekend.  Doing okay?

I had gotten a bunch of requests to put more photos of Grace Slick and the Great Society on the website.  Thanks to the fantastic eye of Herb Greene I happened to have some in the Rock Cave.

There is a section on the website under photos for the Great Society.  I made sure that there are not only full band pictures but Grace and non-Grace as well.

A Jefferson Aircast (Podcast) should be this week.

Have a fantastic Monday,

Craig The Airplane Man

Hello there:

Friday on my mind.  Sorry wrong band.  How you feel today?  Hope all is well.

I got a few requests the past several days to come up with a rare Great Society track.

On You Tube  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y4Xt3OH9XU

I posted a song that never made either of their 2 live records or

“Born To Be Burned.”  I used some amazing Herb Greene photos of the band while the song

“Bulldog Blues” plays.  A cool tune from a band that should have gotten more credit.

Enjoy and have a great weekend,

Airplane Man

Thanks as always and be well,

Craig

Hi everyone:

A quick note for the You Tube fans.  I put up a cool jam of Jack Casady and Jimi

Hendrix from 68.  Enjoy the memories.

How was the weekend?  I often get asked about interviews for the Jefferson Airplane book “Take Me To A Circus Tent” which I am always honored to do.  Many people did not realize the other services the Airplane Man is available for.

One of the exciting projects I am part of is a lecture tour with two A+ individuals as well as voice training for professional work, help with public speaking, etc.

Here is what I wrote on the website to make sure it doesn’t stay a secret.  Please spread the word if you know of people interested in the following:

Interviews, lectures, voice training and public speaking (How to do it best)

are all things the Airplane Man is ready for!

********************************************************************

Besides being available for interviews and quotes I am involved with several exciting services:

Tom Constanten the former member of the Grateful Dead, a man that speaks 6 languages and has taught at two colleges, Don Aters the great rock and roll photogrpaher for 40 years, the best friend of Chet Helms and the man that completed a Masters Program in record time, along with myself

Craig Fenton (Author of the Jefferson Airplane book “Take Me To A Circus Tent” and a former radio disc-jockey) are now lecturing.  The formula that Don thought of worked has worked exceptionally well. (2.5 to 3 hours)

I speak about the Jefferson Airplane & “Take Me To A Circus Tent”

Tom Constanten talks about life with and without the Grateful Dead

Don Aters gives a rock history lesson of the San Francisco scene in the 60’s and some Chet Helms Stories

Tom Constanten plays a solo set of music on the keyboards

We take questions and answers from the audience

The conclusion is a meet and greet with a prize or two given away

The lectures are not only for colleges.  We are available for the

rock and roll art galleries, music stores, record shops, corporate environment, concert facilities, private parties, clubs, and festivals.

Contact me please if interested.

********************************************************************

If you are in need of voice training for professional work ranging from losing a regional accent to

improvisational speaking techniques please contact me.  As a former disc-jockey and long time public speaker I set up individaul training and not the

one size fits all approach

Contact me please if interested.

Thanks and always be well,

Craig The Airplane Man

Hi there:

From the circus tent somewhere in Airplane land I wish you all a great Saturday.

Had a nice week with the book related activities.  I got to talk with Herb Greene the photographer that supplied a myriad of photos for the “Take Me To A Circus Tent” Jefferson Airplane book and Don Aters the legendary lens person as well.

Yesterday I talked with the first female vocalist of the Airplane (Signe Anderson).  Her website isn’t too far from being finished and I am attempting to help her thansk to the great Rick McNamara (Jefferson Starship webmaster).  Signe’s medical bills have been so large that I can’t even type the numbers and I am hoping to find some exciting things that would be sold to help pay down her debts.  One thing I am toying with is if it is possible to have a tribute CD by various artists that were there in the 60’s and 70’s.

A mutual friend of Signe and I is working on a tribute song for Signe to go on the website.  Hopefully details will be available soon.  As of May 4th, 2007 he had about 95 percent of the song written.  That was great news and it made her smile.

If anybody knows a good and honest agent please remember that former Grateful Dead member Tom Constanten, Don Aters (40 years of rock and roll photos) and, I am lecturing.  We each speak, Tom plays a solo set of music, we answer questions and answers, and finally a cool meet and greet.

I posted another cool Jefferson Airplane item on You Tube and a nice George Harrison as well!  Please enjoy!

Did I cover everything?  Please check out the Jefferson Aircasts (Podcasts).  The next one will be in a few days.  I have been recording them every 7-8 days.

I haven’t typed this much since the book “Take Me To A Circus Tent.”

Thanks this week and every week to Rob from Canada.  He is the only person in the universe that can explain computer realted things to an idiot (Me) and it actually not only works but I understand!

Always be well and as I miss my dad more each minute, please tell your parents you love them.

 All the best,

Airplane Man
